HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
the holidays were fun! collecting ang pows were the best! but most importantly, was the food everyday! It was just so good!!
Saturday
reunion dinner was really cool! Granddad like sponsored 100bucks for KFC! i mean like we had the offficial one last week, so this was like some informal thing!
Sunday!
day started off at yi poh's house. when i was dressing up at home like at 8a.m, my stomach was like freaking rumbling non stop! haha! breakfast was good! yipoh fried beehoon and my favourite dessert! went on the ah ma's house and drank the best teh! ang zhou tei! haha! its like some red date tea! damn sweet and with longan inside! continued visiting, came home to sleep then went to the one of the gugu's house! gosh!!! its the same old curry chicken which we will never get tired of! its just so damn good and gosh! its just the best!so was the kiam ak ting! salty duck soup!! haha!! then damn funny, 6th granduncle wanted to ''show off'' his singing talents, so like they did not have his songs, and he asked us to wait for him, and he went all the way home just to get it for us. so they started karaoking until like 10 plus, and during the short interval, they tried dancing cha cha, but gugu just could not make it, and it was damn funnny! haha!
monday!
went to the temple in the morning for blessings, then went to ma zhor geng like we go there everyyear, and dad will tell us he grew up there and all those stories. haha! went to wai po's house, and had lunch! the duck was super good! and the noodles too! the new year fish tasted rather weird. but it was nice. haha! went to visit kim poh after that! Her dog is just so cute and the character is like total opposite of metta! went for dinner at genia's uncle house! the house is like damn damn big la! i won't even dare stay in it, like can you imagine, the toilet was as big as my brother's room. haha, i mean my brother's room is not big, but for a toilet,it is! sheesh! and like there were like 3 living rooms downstairs! haha! the band was cool and so were the new version of the new year songs! stayed there till 11p.m! the choco eclair was good! haha, and the cheesecake!
tuesday!
went to yipoh's house for lunch! Its like the traditional food and its just so so good! i know i am sounding like some pig, but well, its the pig year, what do you expect! i love the pig trotter's soup, the new year fish, the ngoh hiong and everything! went home, and mum and dad pangsei us! they just left us at home and went to john little! and john little was having sale!! argggh!
went to aunty anna's house for dinner. It was rather weird for me, cause like i haven't seen those cousins for like 3 years, so it was akward for me there cause i was not close to anyone of them. But they were nice, and haha, and i managed to like mingle with them and yup, just so different.Then, as usual, i am going to say, the food was damn good! the tung hoon was like shiok, the shark's fin was like shiok and so was everything else! haha! i think like throughout the whole new year, i have been eating home cooked food and its just so wonderful!!
there is going to be party in my house this sat for relatives, next friday for friends, and then saturday at red cross home!! i am going to receive more ang pow!! yeah! no idea why, but this year new year is like so fun and cool!!
